The Short Answer
Yes. We run brand ungating as a paid service on an Amazon account you already own, whether you opened it yourself, bought it from us earlier or bought it somewhere else. You invite us as a user, send your brand list and your invoices, and we prepare and submit the applications.
Gated means Amazon requires approval before an account can list a brand, a category or a product, and ungating is getting that approval.
We have sold 1,700+ aged Amazon, Walmart and eBay seller accounts since 2020, and ungating is part of that work.
This is for sellers who already have a working account and want named brands opened on it. If you want a second account instead, that is a different conversation, and the aged Amazon accounts page is where it starts.
What Has to Be True Before We Take the Job?
Four things. The brand must be a standard brand. Amazon must be taking applications for it. We must confirm an open ASIN, a product listing you can apply against. And your invoices must be in the name of the company registered on your account. If any one of those is missing, we do not quote.
Before we quote, we check the brand and the open ASIN, and we ask whether your invoices are in that company's name. You send the invoices themselves after you pay. No open ASIN means there is nothing to apply against, so we say no up front.
The invoice point matters just as much. Amazon reviews your relationship to the brand, and its brand application asks for a purchase invoice from a manufacturer or distributor, or a brand authorization letter. Our part is to make sure the invoice you have matches the entity on your Seller Central before anything is submitted.
How Does a Paid Ungating Job Run?
After the check and the quote, it runs in five steps. You pay. You invite us as a user on your Seller Central with the permissions we name. You send the brand list and your invoices, in the store's registered company name. We re-check the open ASINs and submit. Sometimes Amazon asks for identity verification or a scheduled call before it looks at the application.

Amazon's own user permissions page explains that you can invite users and authorize third-party service providers to access tools and pages of your Seller Central account. That is how we work on an account you own: as a user you added, with the permissions we name.
What Does Amazon Ask For in a Brand Application?
Amazon's page on categories and products that require approval lists what to prepare: purchase invoices dated within 180 days, clear product photos showing all sides, brand authorization letters if applicable, and safety certifications when required. It then gives a review time of 2 to 7 business days.
Some categories also need commercial liability insurance documentation. And one product can need more than one approval. Amazon's own example is Nike shoes, which needs shoes category approval and Nike brand approval.
To see what a product needs on your account, Amazon's Selling Applications FAQ says to search for it in Add a Product and click Show limitations. The same page warns that you may need to submit an application for the brand in addition to the subcategory the brand is listed in.

How Long Does It Take, and What If Amazon Says No?
Plan on one month for one brand. It is usually faster, but we set the month on purpose so nobody panics if the first attempt is declined. We keep working the application inside that month. If the brand is still gated at the end, you choose a swap to a different brand or a refund of that brand's fee.
Amazon's 2 to 7 business days is the review time for one application. Our month covers the whole job: the first submission, any decline, the fixes and the next attempt.
We do not promise a number of attempts, a faster date or that a given brand will open. On an account you already own there is no replacement account to fall back on, so the month and the two outcomes above are the whole plan, and we say them before the first application goes in. The ungating timeline guide goes deeper on why a month is the honest number.
If Amazon tells you "Your account does not qualify", its page says this decision cannot be appealed, and that Selling Partner Support cannot provide additional details. For your job, that brand ends the same way as any brand still gated at the end of the month: a swap to a different brand or a refund of its fee.
What Can and Can't We Open?
We can open brands where Amazon shows an Apply to sell button, some categories on Amazon, and categories on Walmart. We cannot open human digestibles yet, meaning supplements and anything else a person swallows. A brand that is not a standard brand, or that Amazon is not taking applications for, is also out of reach.
The invoices come from you, in the name registered on the account. Submitting documents that are not yours risks enforcement action on your account.
An open brand is also not permanent. Amazon changes its rules and brands set rules of their own, so a brand that is open today can close later. Before you list under a brand, open one of its products on your account and confirm it still shows "Sell this product".
Which Brands Can a New Account Get Ungated?
On a new account, the realistic brands are standard brands where Amazon shows Apply to sell, with an open ASIN and invoices in your company's name. Supplements are not, because we cannot open anything a person swallows. Nor is Fine Jewelry until the account meets Amazon's performance criteria. Brand access is won one brand at a time, from zero.
Amazon's Jewelry page puts it plainly: "If your account does not meet the minimum criteria, your Fine Jewelry application will be rejected." Check each brand with Show limitations on your own account before you pay anyone to apply. The gated brand check guide walks through it.
What Does Ungating on Your Own Account Cost?
It is priced per brand, and the price per brand drops as you add brands. It costs the same whether the account is yours from the start, one we sold you earlier or one you bought elsewhere. Ungating attached to an account you buy from us is cheaper per brand. Three apply-to-sell approvals come with every account we sell.
We quote a figure once we know the brands, have confirmed an open ASIN for each, and know your invoices are in the name of the company on the account. Starting prices for the accounts themselves are on the aged account price page.
So if you need several brands and a second account would also suit you, you are usually better off buying an account from us than paying to ungate your own. The exact figures for both come on the call.
Ungating Your Own Account or Buying One That Has It?
Ungating your own account opens named brands on the store you run, using your invoices; plan on one month for one brand. Buying an aged account gets you a store with history, with the brand approvals its record already carries shown live before you buy, plus three apply-to-sell approvals named in your Deal Agreement. The number of brands you need decides it.
| Ungating your own account | Buying an aged account from us | |
|---|---|---|
| Who holds the account | You, as now | You, after the handover |
| Brands included | None, each brand is a paid job | Three apply-to-sell approvals, named in the Deal Agreement |
| Price per extra brand | Higher, drops with volume | Lower, flat |
| Brands already open | Whatever your account already has | Account-specific, shown live on the demo before you buy |
| Timing | Plan on one month for one brand, set up front | 10 to 14 business days handover, 30 to 60 days when Amazon asks for extra verification, about half of transfers |
| If a brand stays gated | After one month, a swap to another brand or a refund of that brand's fee | 30 day clock from delivery: replacement account, then refund |
| What we can't open | Supplements and anything a person swallows | The same |
Payment for an account goes to us upfront against a signed Deal Agreement, by wire, ACH, Zelle, card via Stripe, or USDT or USDC. The steps are on how buying works.
FAQ
How much does an Amazon ungating service cost?
We price it per brand, and the price per brand drops as you add brands. We quote the figure on the call, once we know the brands and have confirmed an open ASIN for each.
How long does ungating take?
Plan on one month per brand. Amazon reviews each application in 2 to 7 business days, and our month covers any decline and the next attempt as well.
Is it safe to let someone into your Seller Central?
Amazon builds this in. Its user permissions page lets you invite users and authorize third-party service providers, and that is how we work. You add us as a user, grant the permissions we name, and the account stays in your name.
Do you also handle suspensions or reinstatement?
No. Reinstatement and appeals are not services we offer. Our ungating work is opening brands on an account in good working order.
What if I want to sell my account instead?
Then you want our sister company, Cash For Stores at cashforstores.com, which buys Amazon, Walmart and eBay seller accounts.
