Buy an aged eBay seller account

Seller Accounts sells aged eBay seller accounts with real feedback history and the selling limits they have already earned. We have completed 1,700+ account transfers since 2020, every one on a signed agreement with the previous owner named in it.

If you have been searching for eBay accounts for sale, you have already found accounts for a couple of hundred dollars. Start with why those are that cheap.

Why are some eBay accounts $200 and others thousands?

Because they are not the same product. The cheap ones are logins. The expensive ones are businesses with a documented owner and a transfer you can enforce.

Search for an eBay account today and most of what you find sits on grey marketplaces, forums and Telegram channels, listed for a couple of hundred dollars. At that price nobody is verifying who owned the account, whether the original owner can recover it a month later, or whether the feedback was earned or manufactured. You are buying a password from a stranger and hoping.

An account with genuine trading history, the limits it has already earned and a real handover costs more because those things cost something to produce. That is the entire difference.

Where do people buy eBay accounts, and what is each source actually selling?

The guides that rank for this question list the same places. What they do not do is say what changes hands at each one.

SourceWhat you are actually buyingThe catch
Grey account marketplaces and forumsLogins from anonymous sellers, often with manufactured feedbackRecoverable by the original owner, no counterparty, no refund. Widely reported as scam-dense
Telegram and Discord channelsCheap accounts, frequently cracked or stolenYou may be buying someone else's stolen property. No recourse of any kind
Business-for-sale marketplacesWhole eBay stores with stock and revenue, listed by their ownersLegitimate, but you screen the seller, arrange payment protection and run the transfer yourself, over one to two months
A broker with a signed agreementThe business that holds the account, inspected live, transferred with paperwork and a named previous ownerCosts more than a login, because a documented transfer costs something to produce

We are the last row. Every account we sell is inspected live on a screen-share before any money moves, the previous owner is identified and party to the agreement, you pay a named company against that agreement rather than a stranger, and the transfer carries a 30-day replace-or-refund.

Is buying an eBay account legal?

Two different questions hide in that one, and the pages that rank for it answer the wrong one. Buying the business that holds an eBay account breaks no law. What eBay's rules govern is the contract between an account holder and eBay, and it is worth reading what they say, word for word, because almost nobody quotes them.

eBay's User Agreement, in the list of things an account holder agrees not to do:

"transfer your eBay account (including feedback) and user ID to another party without our consent;"

And its help page on selling an account:

"In the interest of protecting our buyers and sellers, and maintaining a safe marketplace, you can't sell your eBay account or change its ownership."

"Attempting to sell an eBay account may result in buying and selling restrictions as well as account suspension or removal."

Read those together. A login passed to a stranger is exactly what eBay prohibits, and eBay restricts or removes accounts it catches being sold that way. That is the $200 product, and it is why the cheap listings are cheap. The User Agreement conditions a transfer on eBay's consent; what changes hands in a legitimate deal is a business, with the account's registered details updated through eBay's own verification rather than around it. That is the version that keeps working, and it is the only version we run. Nobody can honestly promise zero risk on a decision eBay makes, and we do not.

How does eBay detect a bought account?

This is the section the antidetect-browser blogs write to sell you a browser. The honest version is shorter: eBay is not looking for "a bought account". It is looking for a hijacked one, and a careless handover looks identical.

SignalWhy it fires
A new device and location on day oneThe single most common trigger. Years of logins from one place, then a different country on a fresh machine
Everything changing at onceName, bank, email and phone edited inside the same hour is the shape of a hijacked account
Bank and identity that do not match the registered detailsPayouts to a name eBay has never verified get held, and holds invite review
Behaviour that breaks the account's own patternA quiet account suddenly listing at ten times its volume, in new categories
An identity verification requestUnder a login handover the details belong to the original owner, so the buyer cannot pass it
Links to another restricted accountShared devices, addresses or payment methods with an account eBay has already actioned

Notice that the last two cannot be fixed by any browser. If the registered details still belong to a stranger, you cannot pass a verification request, and you cannot get paid out under your own name. That is where a cookie-transferred login dies, usually in the first month. The fix is not concealment. It is a transfer in which the registered business details are actually yours.

What types of eBay accounts do people sell?

Personal accounts

Registered to an individual. Most grey-market listings are these, and the identity on them can never become yours, which is the whole problem.

Business accounts

Registered to a company. This is the kind a business sale can carry, because the business is what changes hands and the registered details are updated through eBay's verification.

Aged accounts with feedback

Years of genuine trading, real feedback, limits that have already been raised. This is what we sell, and the age and feedback are only worth anything if they are real, which is why you inspect them live.

"Stealth" accounts

Accounts opened under manufactured identities to get around a previous restriction. We do not sell them and will not sell an account to a buyer who was suspended on eBay, because it puts the account at immediate risk and it is not something we will be part of.

Why do people buy aged eBay accounts at all?

Because a new account is throttled in ways that have nothing to do with your product or your capital. eBay caps how much a new seller can list, by item count and by total value, until the account has earned its way up through sales, delivered orders and clean performance. That takes months, and during those months your stock sits still. New accounts also start with no feedback, and buyers are measurably more reluctant to buy from zero-feedback sellers above low price points.

An aged account has already done the climbing. The limits are raised because the history that raises them already exists. You are not buying a shortcut around eBay's rules. You are buying an account that already satisfied them. How eBay selling limits work, and why an aged account starts above them, is its own post.

What does an aged eBay seller account cost?

It depends on feedback volume, account age, selling limits and standing, and the price of a specific account is confirmed on the call, against the account you have just seen on screen. A strong account with years of real trading history and high limits is worth considerably more than an entry-level one, and is priced that way. Ranges across all three platforms are on the account pricing breakdown.

If your budget is a couple of hundred dollars, we are not the right fit and we would rather say so now than sell you something that disappoints.

What is the difference between a cheap account and a transferred one?

 Grey-market listingSeller Accounts
Who owned it before youUnknown. Often the original owner still has recovery accessKnown, identified, and party to a signed agreement
Feedback historySometimes inflated by fake transactionsGenuine trading history you can inspect before paying
Selling limitsUsually default limits, which is the whole problem you are solvingRaised limits where present, shown to you live
Getting paid outPayouts and identity checks still point at a strangerRegistered details updated to you, through eBay's verification
What happens on a disputeNothing. There is no counterparty to callA written agreement and a named contact
PaymentDirect to a stranger, often crypto or gift cardTo a named company, against a mutual Deal Agreement signed before any money moves
If it fails after handoverYour loss30-day replace-or-refund

How does the transfer work?

You inspect the account live before any money moves. We screen-share the real account, not screenshots: feedback, limits, standing, history, defect rate. Ask about anything on the screen.

If it is a fit, everything goes in writing. Both sides sign a mutual Deal Agreement before any money moves; it names the account, the timeline and the replacement-first refund mechanic, and the previous owner is identified and party to it, so there is a counterparty if something goes wrong later. Then the changes happen in a sequence, spaced out, from a consistent setup, with every recovery path closed properly rather than left open, and the registered details updated through eBay's verification.

Every transfer carries a 30-day replace-or-refund. The full buying process is written out step by step, including what you receive at handover.

What should you check before buying any eBay account?

  • Can you see the account live, or only screenshots?
  • Is the current owner identified, and will they sign?
  • Who are you actually paying, a named company under a written agreement or a stranger?
  • Is the feedback real trading history, or volume with no substance behind it?
  • What happens if the account is recovered or restricted a week later?

If a seller cannot answer those five, the price is not the problem. Ask them anyway. Ask us the same five.

Common questions

Can I buy an eBay seller account?

You can buy the business that holds one, with the registered details updated to you through eBay's verification. You cannot safely buy a login. The first is a transaction with paperwork and a counterparty. The second is a password from a stranger, and eBay's help page tells you what happens to accounts sold that way.

Can you get banned for using a bought eBay account?

An account bought as a login and run from a new device with a stranger's details still on it, yes, and usually quickly. The signals in the table above are what eBay acts on. An account transferred as a business, with the registered details actually yours, is a different situation, though no transfer on any marketplace is risk-free and we do not pretend otherwise.

Is there a safe way to buy an eBay account?

Safer, not safe. Inspect it live, get the previous owner identified and signed, pay a named company under a written agreement, check the feedback is genuine, and confirm in writing what happens if the account is restricted after handover. Anyone offering an account who cannot meet all five is selling you a login.

What are eBay's selling limits for a new seller?

A new account is limited on both the number of items and the total value it can list per month, and the limits rise in stages with sales, delivered orders and clean performance. The exact starting figures vary by account and eBay adjusts them, so check yours in Seller Hub rather than trusting a number from a blog. Why the limits exist and how they move is its own post.

How much is an eBay seller account worth?

Mostly what its feedback, limits, standing and age are worth to the buyer. A raised limit on a damaged account is worth much less than the same limit on a clean one, and manufactured feedback is worth nothing. The price of a specific account is confirmed on the call, not by a page.

What is the alternative to buying an eBay account?

Opening a new one and climbing. It is free, it is slow, and for someone testing whether ecommerce suits them at all it is the right answer. Buy an aged account when the platform is the bottleneck, not the plan: you already know what you are selling, you have stock or supply lined up, and every month of throttled limits costs you real money. Aged eBay account versus new, side by side.
